1. Volunteer Responsibilities:

• 1.1. The Volunteer agrees to perform assigned tasks diligently and professionally, as directed by the Organizer, during the event.
• 1.2. The Volunteer understands that this is an unpaid position and does not establish an employer-employee relationship with the Organizer.

2. Photography, Videography, and Recordings:

• 2.1. The Volunteer consents to being photographed, videotaped, and recorded during the event.
• 2.2. The Organizer is granted a perpetual, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use the Volunteer’s image, voice, and likeness in promotional materials, advertisements, event recordings, and marketing campaigns related to the event.
• 2.3. The Volunteer waives any rights to review or approve the use of recordings or materials in which they appear.

3. Sharing of Information:

• 3.1. The Volunteer agrees that their name, contact details, and role as a volunteer may be shared with event sponsors, partners, and relevant industry organizations for networking, collaboration, and future communication.
• 3.2. The Organizer will ensure that such information is shared in compliance with applicable data protection laws. Volunteers may opt out of future communications by contacting the Organizer or third parties directly.

4. Confidentiality:

• 4.1. The Volunteer agrees to keep confidential any non-public information shared with them during the course of their volunteer duties.
• 4.2. This confidentiality obligation extends to event operations, participant details, and any proprietary information disclosed by the Organizer.

5. Liability:

• 5.1. The Volunteer participates in the event at their own risk. The Organizer is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred during the event, whether in-person or online.
• 5.2. Online Volunteers are responsible for ensuring their technology and internet access to fulfill their duties.

6. Representations and Warranties:

The Volunteer represents and warrants that:

• 6.1. They are at least 18 (or have parental/guardian consent if under 18).
• 6.2. They will act professionally and respectfully toward all participants, attendees, and fellow volunteers.
• 6.3. They will comply with the Organizer’s instructions and adhere to event guidelines.

7. Indemnification:

The Volunteer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer, its affiliates, sponsors, and partners from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of their volunteer participation.

8. Termination of Volunteer Role:

• 8.1. The Organizer reserves the right to terminate the Volunteer’s role at any time for non-compliance with this Agreement or event guidelines.
• 8.2. The Volunteer may withdraw from their role with reasonable prior notice to the Organizer.

9. Acceptance of Terms:

• By registering as a Volunteer for LumeSmart Earth Day 2025, the Volunteer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Agreement.
